Game On! – the PHS After Prom Theme

The Perrysburg High School After Prom Committee selected “Game On!” for this year’s event theme. The winning designs for the T-shirt graphic contest include the many facets of “gaming” such as video games, board games, game shows and sports. The 2019 grand prize winners are Sharon Smith, who celebrates the theme with a game board, dice, Scrabble-inspired pieces and digital lettering, and Parker Redwine with an old-school video game controller, dice, chess and gaming lettering. Many thanks to the more than 100 students who submitted designs for the contest. Winners of the contest receive two free After Prom tickets and T-shirts.

After Prom includes socializing, entertainment, contests, prizes and refreshments. It is a substance-free, adult-supervised event held for PHS juniors and seniors and their guests. This year’s event will be held at PHS on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Over 530 students attended last year!

Tickets for After Prom are $20 and may be purchased in the PHS Commons Wednesday, April 24th - Friday, April 26th and Tuesday, April 30th – Friday, May 3rd, during lunches and before school, following any 2-hour delay schedules. Tickets will also be sold at Penta Career Center through Mary Schultz (mschultz@pentacc.org).

The success of the PHS After Prom is directly related to the community’s generous support through tax-deductible donations and volunteering. The evening of After Prom, over 50 volunteers are needed!
